LAEV Family Child Care (LAEV-FCC)

Nurturing compassion and cooperation for social change

What We Are

LAEV Family Child Care (LAEV-FCC) is a child care program based in the Los Angeles Eco Village (LAEV) and is provided by CRSP, a nonprofit resource center for cooperatives and intentional communities. LAEV-FCC is open to all families of the near-by neighborhoods.

Our Purpose

LAEV-FCC strives to address the high demand for affordable childcare within its community by using methods that are sustainable and community-oriented. It offers a democratic workplace that is committed to paying its caregivers living wages while providing quality childcare that focuses on cooperation and compassionate communication. LAEV-FCC offers a 4-1 child to adult ratio as well as a caring and committed staff.

Who We Are

The child care program is managed collectively by caregivers that live in or near the Los Angeles Eco-Village. Parents and guardians that are considering its services are welcome to contact LAEV-FCC and visit the facility by attending an LAEV tour.

LAEV-FCC is open on Mondays to Fridays from 6am-6pm, and accepts children between the ages of 1 to 12 years old.
