Leslie Ezeh is the program manager and licensee for LAEV Family Child Care. She co-founded the child care cooperative with Autumn Rooney in response to the high demand for affordable child care within their community. Prior to working at LAEV-FCC, Leslie was a middle school English teacher at LAUSD.
Howdy, my name is Charla! I’ve been babysitting since high school and I’ve provided child care at the LA Eco-Village since 2014. I’m a former EMT who now works a regular 9-5, but I still offer my childcare services on a needed basis. 🙂
Jessica Ruvalcaba is a Waldorf Teacher, RIE enthusiast, mother and wife. She is committed to helping parents and children find their way and to bring art and craft to a new all those that wish to make things by hand.
Dani Knoll is a care provider with experience teaching 5th and 6th grades abroad. They are currently enrolled in Waldorf teacher training to transition to work with the younger years in progressive pedagogy. Dani is also taking classes in early childhood education as a part of this endeavor. They love art, music, literature and they maintain a proficiency in Spanish language.
Adriana Swain is a childcare assistant and is excited about the opportunity to connect kids with their natural surroundings at the beautiful LA Ecovillage. Before joining LAEV Family Childcare, she was a master’s student in environmental politics, and volunteered with kids in a community garden in her spare time.
