The Art of Death Midwifery Certificate Training Program 2018 – Feb 16-18 and beyond, Los Angeles

Death Midwifery combines the role of death doula, spiritual counsellor, home funeral guide and celebrant providing support to the death journeyer and their family from terminal diagnosis to final disposition.
 
‘The Art of Death Midwifery’ is a comprehensive three-level certificate program for professional and non-professional end-of-life caregivers, and those wishing to deepen their knowledge of the dying process.

Conscious Dying is an intensive, interactive workshop providing information and tools to
create a meaningful death free from suffering.
This workshop is open to professional and non-professional end-of-life caregivers and all those wishing to prepare for a conscious, peaceful transition.
Films, discussion and group exercises support the information shared in an intimate and nurturing environment. Advance health care directives and other legal documents are completed, signed and witnessed in the class.
Conscious Dying is Level II of The Art of Death Midwifery certificate program and the pre-requisite for Level III, After Death Care. Early registration is recommended.

Workshop Facilitator
Rev. Olivia Bareham, founder of Sacred Crossings is an Inter-faith Minister with a BA in Natural Theology and Sacred Healing. She is a certified Death Midwife, Celebrant and Home Funeral Guide currently assisting individuals seeking a conscious dying experience and guiding their families in home-based after death care.
