LA ECOVILLAGE COMMUNITY HUB:
If you have been on a tour of the LA Ecovillage, you’re invited to participate in our work parties at the LAEVI Community Hub, happening each Wednesday and Friday from 5 to 7:30pm in July, August and September, 2025. Please let Lois know a few hours before on the day you’d like to participate: crsp@igc.org or 213/738-1254
What to wear and bring:
Closed toe shoes, water bottle, hat, your good energy, long sleeved shirts and pants, snacks to share if you’d like.
What we’ll be doing. Choose your interests:
– Preparing/Staffing our new Diversity Park
– Maintaining Aquaponics system
– Transplanting plants that have outgrown their pots
– Spreading compost and mulch
– Cutting weeds back.
– Watering plants
– Pruning suckers from neighborhood trees
– Seed planting
– Making compost
– Redesigning/rearranging our potted plant nursery
– Re-organizing our shed
– More…..
